Create a custom button
Add a new button to your deck using the step-by-step wizard.

Open the Deck Editor
Click the DeckPilot menu bar icon on your Mac and select "Edit Deck", or click any deck in the dashboard.

Tap an empty cell
Click any "+" cell in the grid. This opens the button wizard.

Choose an action
Pick what the button does: Open Application, Keyboard Shortcut, Apple Shortcut, AppleScript, or Macro.
Start with "Open Application" or "Keyboard Shortcut" — they're the most common.

Configure the action
Set the specific action. For keyboard shortcuts, press the key combination. For apps, search and select the app.

Customize appearance
Choose an icon (SF Symbol, app icon, or custom image), set the label text, and pick a background color.
